Jade Floyd is the co‑founder of Floyd Family Services, LLC, where she partners with small business owners who want clear, reliable financials and the confidence to make informed decisions.
Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Jade has called the Charleston, South Carolina area home for more than a decade. Her early career was rooted in Charleston’s hospitality industry, where she developed a deep appreciation for operational complexity, margin sensitivity, and people-driven businesses.
In 2020, Jade transitioned into accounting and finance, bringing her operational background with her as a differentiator rather than leaving it behind. She spent several years advancing within The Dewberry’s accounting team, most recently serving as Accounting Manager, where she supported financial reporting, process improvement, capital projects, and cross-department collaboration.
Today, Jade works with service-based businesses, hospitality operators, and growing companies that need more than basic bookkeeping. Her engagements often begin with cleanup and structure, then evolve into ongoing bookkeeping, controller support, and fractional CFO-level advisory as clients scale.
Jade is known for her practical, approachable style and her ability to translate financial data into real-world insight. Clients value her steady partnership, clear communication, and focus on building systems that support sustainable growth — not just compliance.
She is a trusted advisor within the Breakaway Bookkeeping & Advising network, partnering with the broader Breakaway “Hive” of specialists to bring expanded insight, resources, and support to her clients. This collaboration allows Jade to offer not only personalized, hands-on service, but also access to a deeper bench of expertise as client needs grow more complex.
Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Jade serves clients locally and nationwide.
Jade is active in the Charleston professional community and will be serving as Treasurer for CHS Women in Technology beginning in 2026.

Brandon Floyd is the co-founder of Floyd Family Services, LLC, where he leads operations, systems, and technology-driven support that enable the firm to deliver consistent, high-quality service to its clients.
A longtime Charleston-area resident, Brandon has called the region home since the mid-1990s. Growing up in a military family and living in multiple places shaped his adaptability and problem-solving mindset, while Charleston is where he has lived the longest and feels most rooted.
Brandon brings experience across business administration, analytics, software-as-a-service environments, Salesforce administration, and loan signing agent services. His background allows him to design and maintain the operational infrastructure behind the firm — from systems and workflows to client-facing processes — so financial and advisory work can be delivered smoothly and reliably.
Brandon works closely with Jade to support the firm’s internal operations and client experience, ensuring the systems behind the work are organized, efficient, and reliable.
In addition, Brandon is an active loan signing agent and mentors local notary publics. Through this work, he supports fellow professionals in building compliant, sustainable practices and brings a practical, detail-oriented perspective to documentation, process, and execution.
